MEET Informal Reception and Check-In Wednesday evening from 6pm-9pm, join us for a small informal gathering at the Hilton Hotel bar. GLS staffers will be on-hand to distribute programs and name badges, answer questions, mingle, and foster general merriment. We hope you'll stop by and introduce yourself! DRINK Cocktail Reception Thursday evening from 4:45pm-6pm, after the day's general program is complete, we invite you to pop inside the Exhibit Hall for an uninterrupted look at the outstanding presentations and greet exhibitors. Have a drink, mingle with other attendees and exhibitors, and get a closer look at the presentations we've highlighted on the Exhibit Hall program. EAT Outdoor Dinner Party Following the Exhibit Hall Cocktail Reception on Thursday night is our marquee social event: dinner at historic Quivey's Grove just outside of Madison. Beginning at 6pm (last bus at 7pm), buses will depart from the main Monona Terrace upper level entrance (look for the sign) and take attendees 15 minutes south of town, where will we have a traditional Midwestern bar-be-que picnic dinner under the stars. Chicken, ribs, and grilled portabellas are on the menu, as is an old-fashioned apple crisp and fresh Wisconsin ice cream. Dinner and transportation are complimentary, but beer and wine are extra, so bring your cash to enjoy some local Wisconsin libations (but don't worry, we'll drive you to an ATM if need be). Socialize, network, and eat to your heart's content! We hope you enjoy this summer picnic in the country. |
