BIOGRAPHY Mr. Timothy Sayers is the Science and Technology Analyst for the TRADOC Program Integration Office
- Virtual Training Environment (TPIO Virtual), since May 2004. He is the co-author of the Synthetic Environment (SE)
Core requirements document, and the Combat Developer for the Army's dismounted immersive virtual Soldier simulation -
Soldier Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (CATT). Mr. Sayers has been involved with simulations since 1987, and holds a
master's degree in computer science management. He is a former member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, and served
twenty-two years on active duty with the United States Army. ABSTRACT Games & The Military Dr. Robert Wisher, Director of the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative, will chair the panel. Military participants will share their experiences with using or managing the games or gaming technology for military training. They will explore the use of standards, specific projects and lessons learned. |
