Chris Holden is a fifth year Ph.D. student in Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a specialization in Algebraic Number Theory. He also studies Math Education under Eric Knuth, researching middle and high school students’ understanding and production of mathematical proof. In the Fall of 2007, Chris will become an Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico, teaching in an interdisciplinary department known as Honors.
