Eric Bauman |
BIOGRAPHY Eric Bauman is a Registered Nurse and Firefighter/Paramedic with over fifteen years of clinical and teaching experience. He has completed a B.A. in Sociology, and B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. Eric is currently a dissertator working with Professor Betty Hayes at the University of Wisconsin — Madison. Eric’s research takes place in the Department of Anesthesiology and focuses on the use of high-fidelity simulation as a technique for resuscitation education and assessment. Eric has worked with several faculty members to develop a simulation-based resuscitation elective for fourth year medical students. Many of the years that Eric spent working in health care and the fire service have been devoted to education that uses technology to enhance experiences associated with educational processes. Eric has presented his research at several conferences and is deeply devoted to educational processes that promote engagement, reflection, and fun. SESSIONS FOR THIS AUTHOR |
