Mark Chen is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Washington looking at communication and cooperation in computer role-playing games using a personal narrative frame. He has recently started focusing on social justice and marginalization issues in game communities. Prior to doctoral work, Mark was the webmaster and a web game developer for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon.
