Mingfong Jan is a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a major in Educational Communications and Technology, a minor in the design of learning environment, and a Masters degree in Literature in Ecological Poetics. He has been working with Augmented Reality (AR) games since 2004 and has been deeply involved in the development and implementation of all the AR games done in his group. He created the first AR game in Madison, Mad City Mystery, and is currently working on a game about the ecosystem of Lake Wingra.
