Jennifer Sheppard
Biography
Dr. Jennifer Sheppard is an assistant professor of rhetoric and professional communication in the English Department at New Mexico State University. Sheppard has 10 years of research, teaching, and consultancy experience in the area of new media, information design, and technical communication and regularly works on multimedia project development with MA and PhD students in her department’s Rhetoric and Professional Communication program. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in web design, multimedia theory and production, technical, scientific, and professional communication, and document design. One of her primary research interests is investigating the ways in which games and simulations can be used to teach and communicate complex information to varied audiences.
