Jeremy Koester
Biography
Jeremy Koester (EdM) is the President of GaLiSL (Gaming and Learning in Second Life) and Sims playground coordinator, SLCC Ed. Game/Event planner/developer, and a teacher at Alamo Heights ISD in San Antonio. Mr. Koester is a respected lecturer and has presented most recently at NECC, SLBPE, SLCC, TCEA, and CAMT.
Jeremy is first of all an educator. As the founder and president of Gaming and Learning in Second Life, he consults with educational entities regarding learning and technology in virtual worlds. Jeremy regularly presents his educational technology findings to whomever will listen long enough. As an integral player in the growing industry of learning game development, his personality, unique balance of skills, and dynamic personality has already begun to impact educational design and development.
